Shooting Gallery FAQ
Question: Can the targets in your galleries be activated by a camera flash?
No. For ease of maintenance, we have a "Test Switch" in the galleries which when turned on enables a technician or person checking the gallery to activate the targets with a flashlight for maintenance purposes only.
Question: What is a typical product life of your galleries?
We have many, many of our shooting galleries over twenty years old still in use.
Question: Do your shooting galleries use a computer for controlling the gallery? If not, why?
No, our shooting galleries use time tested and proven solid state and digital electronics. We do not use computers for several reasons. We don't want the reliability of our shooting galleries to rely on the quality of a third parties software or computer.
We have seen instances where the computer which runs arcade equipment breaks down, and the game is down until the computer is repaired or another computer is installed.
Question: How much maintenance do your shooting galleries require?
Very little. We recommend you follow the air compressors operating instructions for maintenance of the compressor itself for long life and trouble free operation. For the gallery itself, we recommend you check the targets and rifles/pistols weekly for proper operation.
Question: Can your shooting galleries be in an outdoor location?
Yes, as long as the gallery itself is inside a covered building which protects the set and electronics from the elements.
Question: Is an attendant required for your shooting gallery?
No.
